27th October. Next day the child's temperature was little better, and the throat symptoms also improved. About noon on the 28th, another injection of 2,000 units of anti-toxin was given. Next day the child was much better. He was quiet and slept well at night, and the membranes disappeared, except a small patch 011 one of the tonsils. But the temperature still continued above normal, till 011 the 4th day after the first injection of antitoxin, it came down to normal.
